America went to war in Afghanistan and helped set up a new and better government, presumably more democratic with justice and liberty for all.

Thanks, Mr. President. Now we are finding out that in Afghanistan it is against the law for a man to convert to Christianity. The prosecution in this case is demanding the DEATH PENALTY.

Mr. President, is this what American soldiers are giving their lives for? Thanks, but no thanks. What if the American government were to execute anyone who converted to Islam? Would Muslims protest? Perhaps Muslims should then protest the Afghan government's law. Or is this all just another double standard?
