On the AOL news today is an interesting article relating to what I have written in the past about Iraq splitting into three parts. As you may recall, I think this will actually happen at some point, because of the statement in Revelation 16:19 about Babylon being divided into three parts. Since Iraq is the territory of old Babylon, I think that Iraq's split will be a sign of the REAL division/split of Mystery Babylon.

Senator Joseph Biden of Delaware has proposed three near-autonomous regions in Iraq with a central government in Baghdad. It's not a full-blown split into three nations, but, who knows? It's hard to tell precisely how these types might be fulfilled.
