Uri Avnery wrote a good article on January 20, 2007 called A Freedom Ride.

Israeli peace settlers organized a "freedom ride" to protest a new law forbidding Israelis to give rides to Palestinians in entering the Israeli state. The new law was "frozen" as a result.

The author then writes about Jimmy Carter's new book, Peace Not Apartheid, showing the similarities and differences between South African and Israeli apartheid.

It's well worth reading.
