On February 16, 2007 the New Mexico legislature passed Senate Resolution 5, asking the United States Congress to look into allegations of Constitutional violations in impeachment proceedings against President Bush and Vice President Cheney.

I have suspected since last year that the President would be impeached, much like President Clinton was impeached. I have wondered if perhaps such proceedings would put enough pressure upon the President to make him repent, even as President Clinton was forced to do in 1998. Will this be a repeat situation? Time will tell.
