The picture of the Amero that was in the recent video which I posted is apparently not a picture of the real Amero. It is instead a medallion that is currently being sold by a company online at:

I had assumed it was the same one that Hal Turner posted online some time ago. Hal is a bit of a radical, and he issued an appeal that someone who was actually minting real ameros would send him one. Someone apparently did, and Hal posted a picture of it online.

That was about a year ago, but I have not been able to find that article. Maybe he removed it. Maybe someone actually sent him this medallion, which he later discovered to be unofficial. I don't know. If anyone knows what's going on, perhaps you can let me know.
