I recently posted a story about Tommy Dorsey and how he wrote "Precious Lord."

This story is apparently circulating because someone did not know the difference between Tommy Dorsey the white trombonist and Tommy A. Dorsey the African-American gospel singer. Sorry, the story turns out to be not so accurate, even though many of the details are actually true.
