The Free Lakota Bank
Nov 24, 2008
The formation of the Free Lakota Bank was announced today. On Dec. 17, 2007 the Lakota tribe declared its sovereignty to form a "breakaway republic," since the US government has not honored its past treaties with them. Today they are announcing their new bank, which accepts only silver or gold deposits.
None of this fractional reserve banking stuff. Worthless Fed notes not accepted either. Is it a coincidence that the bailout of Citibank and the establishment of the Free Lakota Bank come at the same time?
More power to the Lakotas. Perhaps this time they'll win the "Indian wars." It looks like they have finally discovered America's "achilles heel."
