Hal Turner thinks he has a genuine amero. It looks like someeone may have sent him one of Daniel Carr's creations. If so, they are not official currency, present or future.

On the other hand, this in no way proves that the amero itself is a fake. The amero has been reported on CNBC.

These may not be in existence yet, but they are being planned, and it is possible that they have even been minted already. Daniel Carr's creations have nothing to do with that.

But in the interest of truth, you should know that there are some fake ameros out there.
