Seven more banks fail

Seven more banks have been siezed by regulators on July 2.

This brings the total to 52 banks that have failed this year, compared to just 25 last year. The FDIC is on the hook for another $314.2 million. Hmm, that's the rounded off number for pi (3.14159).
