I had the second cataract removed (left eye) this morning, so I am somewhat incapacitated today. I have a follow-up checkup tomorrow morning as well. Then Friday we will be going to the headwaters of the Mississippi River.

Then we will be busy at a conference Saturday and Sunday.

I do not know if I will be able to write much this week, but I might find time to give you a few updates.

Meanwhile, my right eye is doing very well now. I am able to see very well both near and far after the surgery June 29. I trust that the left side will be as good after a day or two.
