Recall that Nate Saint was one of four missionaries killed in Ecuador decades ago. As he was dying from the spear wound, his killers saw the Great Boa ("Gates of Splendor") open up to receive him. This is what caused them later to accept the gospel of Christ. Their story is recorded in the book, Through Gates of Spendor. A movie was also made recently to tell this story.

Nate's son, Steve Saint, was later adopted by the tribesmen that killed his father. He now flies a car. Watch him.
