The Babylonians are really upset with Darius the Mede (from Media). It looks like the prophesied war is coming to a head.

Watch also the price of silver. The coalition of Media and Persia represented the arms of silver back in Daniel 2:32, which overthrew the head of gold (Babylon).

So far silver is up over 60% for the year, while gold is up only about 30%. The price ratio between gold and silver was 60:1 not long ago. It is today running at just 48:1. Both metals are going up in price, but silver is beating gold significantly.
