This is something to watch, especially if you live in the area near Omaha, NE.
On June 6, flooding occurred at the Fort Calhoun nuclear plant along the Missouri River.
On June 8 there was a fire at the facility, after the flood shut down the pumps used to cool the spent nuclear fuel rods.
If the dam breaks upstream, this nuclear plant could experience an "inland tsunami" that would be similar to what happened in Japan last March.
Keep your Potassium Iodate handy. We have enough on hand so far--unless a real disaster occurs, at which time, we will be out of stock in a single day. It is always best to buy before the mad rush, because when a crisis hits, the shelves will be empty for weeks.
