When police beat protesters in Egypt, Syria, and Bahrain, the word got out via video cameras and cell phones. We were told that these governments were abusing "their own people" (whatever that means).

Now the chickens have come home to roost. It's getting so that an angry cop can't punch anyone in secret anymore! "The whole world is watching!"
