The number 999 has been of particular interest to us for many years.

It is the numeric value of the first few words in Scripture: "In the beginning, God." This could also be translated, "In the firstfruits, God..."

The firstfruits company also describes "the remnant." In Isaiah's remnant prophecies, he was instructed to name his son Shear-jashub (Is. 7:3), which means "the remnant shall return." The numeric value of jashub is 318, so one might read this as "the remnant shall be 318."

So what is the relationship between 999 and 318? It is the pi relationship, because if you divide 999 by pi (3.14159...), it comes to 318. Another way of looking at it is this: if you draw a circle with a circumference of 999, the diameter will be 318.

This is the connection between "In the firstfruits, God" and the remnant (overcomers). It is interesting, then, that Abram sent 318 men to free his nephew, Lot, when the kings of Shinar had taken him captive in Genesis 14. See verse 14. These 318 men represent the overcomers in the house of Abraham. Genealogically speaking, none of them were born of Abraham himself, since Abraham had no children until much later. Yet they were all "born in his house."

Prophetically speaking, these 318 men were of the seed of Abraham in the sense that the Apostle Paul tells us in Gal. 3:29,

(29) And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise.

Over a year ago, brother Vinnie had a dream in which he saw the number 999 flash before his eyes four times in a row. This is the same Vinnie who has sold many of you Iraqi dinar (currency). Yesterday, he was recounting this dream to his family around the dining room table when his young son, Vincent, Jr., began to prophesy. He sent me an email, telling me what happened:

"Then I'm telling my kids about the 999 safety deposit box, the 999-1 odds for the St. Louis Cards fan who won, the Herman Cain 999 plan. Then this past week I believe I told you both about a link I was sent that has an astrologer state that the stars are going to be aligned in 999 pattern between 3/14 and 3/15.

"When I finished talking, my 6-year-old son, Vincent prophesies this at the table (as best in his own words). 'We live in the earth and we're flesh. God lives in heaven. The planets are closer to heaven. So 999 means a staircase to heaven'.

"Tonight we were watching "One Night with the King," the story of Esther. We took a little ice cream break. I went to the computer. As soon as I put up the Yahoo page, I freaked out."

You’ll climb 999 grueling steps to an opening in the mountains considered to be the door to heaven. A cliff collapsed years ago, leaving this more-than-400-foot-tall hole. The number 999 was selected as lucky since the number 9 has the same pronunciation as the word that means “eternal,” or “perpetual,” in Mandarin—which may seem cruelly appropriate to those who attempt the climb. Just to get to the base of the staircase, visitors must first take a cable car that climbs 4,000 feet or a bus along a mountain road so winding it’s been compared to a dragon’s back.

Go to the link above and scroll down a bit until you come to the article. You will see a picture of the 400-foot-tall hole in the mountain that is said to be "the door to heaven" and the 999 stairs leading to it.

So after the above prophecy, later that evening, the little prophet's mother was directed to another prophecy by an eleven-year-old girl, who had had a vision of Christ on a white horse. In the vision, Christ turned into a staircase to heaven.

In Genesis 28, Jacob had a dream at Luz, which means "almond," and signifies "to awake." When he woke up, he called the place "the gate of heaven" (Gen. 28:17, NASB). So he renamed the place Bethel, the house of God.

The year 2012 is the Year of the Awakening. Is this the year that we awake from our dream about the gate of heaven? Do we symbolically have to ascend 999 steps to reach this gate? Perhaps this applies more specifically to the remnant (318).

In 1995, I received the revelation about the three churches, one in each of the three ages (Passover, Pentecost, and Tabernacles). First the Israelite "church in the wilderness" (Acts 7:38) was called out of Egypt. Then in Acts 2, the Pentecost church was called out of Judaism. Finally, today, the Tabernacles "remnant church" is being called out beyond the downpayment of the Spirit at Pentecost into the fulness of the Spirit.

Little Vincent's prophecy yesterday (3/11) comes a week before I am scheduled to attend a small meeting called by Sunny Day Roberts (3/17). The Father spoke to her to call a meeting to celebrate and discuss Eph. 3:19,

(19) and to know the love of Christ, which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fulness of God.

The Greek word for "fulness" is pleroma. Its verb form is pleroo, used in Gal. 5:14, which carries a numeric value of 999.

What I have not yet told Sunny Day is that the date of her meeting was already a watch date for me. I noticed last month that March 17 was 16 x 414 days after His Fulness Prayer Campaign that we conducted on Jan. 27, 1994. That prayer campaign was also based on Eph. 3:19.

So I am quite sure that I will have more to share about that later.
