Apostle Islands Trip Report (corrected)

In January of 2001 the revelation we received was that America and other nations were still ruled spiritually by the golden calves that Jeroboam built after the death of Solomon (1 Kings 12:28-30). Israel had been cast out of the land on account of these golden calves, but this did not mean that those spiritual rulers in high places had been overthrown. In fact, it meant the opposite, for the people then went into a long captivity under those false gods.
In February and March of 2001 we were led to hold a series of three prayer campaigns designed to deal with those golden calves as they pertained to America. We learned that these false gods had taken the form of seven spiritual princes and that we were to overthrow them. The first battle was held on February 23-27, 2001 to overthrow Beelzebub and the Prince of Revenge, replacing them with Joy and Peace.
The second campaign was held from March 8-9, overthrowing the Prince of Usury and replacing him with the Spirit of Helpfulness.
The final battle, held on March 22-24, 2001, overthrew the Red Dragon, the Prince of Counterfeit, the Prince of Slavery, and the Prince of Influence. We replaced them with the Spirit of Maturity, Temperance, Responsibility, and Faithfulness. The account of these battles is found in chapter 28 of The Wars of the Lord. This final battle was to be named “He is Building Effective Apostleship.” (See chapter 30 of The Wars of the Lord.)
During the final prayer campaign, we were led to begin praying a simple prayer: “God Bless America.” (Six months later, everyone was praying this prayer after the Twin Towers were demolished.) The result of these prayer campaigns, insofar as the divine court was concerned, was that America was granted divorce papers from the golden calves, so that she would be eligible to marry Jesus Christ. So on June 19, 2001 we were led to hold another prayer campaign called “We Accept Your New Covenant Marriage Proposal.”
The year 2001 was a climactic year insofar as spiritual warfare was concerned. Many wars were fought throughout the year, culminating in November of that year. We understood from this that we were establishing the lawful foundations for the Kingdom itself, but that this would take some time to come into visibility.
The Hezekiah Factor
In 1994 I had received revelation which I called the Hezekiah Factor. This was a way to establish things ten years late (or even ten days late) and still be on time from a legal standpoint. God turns the clock back as in the days of Hezekiah (2 Kings 20:9-11) to make things happen on time.
At the same time, however, Hezekiah himself received a 15-year extension of life (2 Kings 20:6).
We have seen many parallel events occurring on a 10-year pattern cycle, and now we are also seeing a 15-year pattern. Back in 2011 we were invited by our daughter to go to the Apostle Islands in northern Wisconsin on the shore of Lake Superior for a vacation. Because this was ten years after 2001, we believed that the island cruise would indicate that the “Effective Apostleship” prophesied in 2001 was about to begin. However, the weather was stormy, and the cruise was canceled. We inquired of the Lord about this, and He told us that the Effective Apostleship prophecy was delayed to a later time.
Five years went by, and then we received an invitation from Kevin and Carol to attend a Christian Ojibwe ceremony on Madeline Island, which was one of the 22 Apostle Islands. It was to be held on May 21, 2016, and we knew that the delay had run its course. Instead of a 10 year Hezekiah Factor, we were seeing a 15-year “extension” from 2001-2016.
Last February, on our trip to New Zealand and Australia, we visited “The 12 Apostles” on the southern coast of Australia. (These were islands and rock pillars.) Norm and Norma had originally planned to stop there on the way from the airport in Melbourne to their house in Warnambool; however, the weather was bad, so we bypassed it on February 24. The next day, however, was beautiful, and so we drove an hour to see the 12 Apostles on February 25.
This told us that we had arrived at the proper time to launch the Apostolic ministry prophesied in 2001. At the time, I wondered if we might also make a trip to the Apostle Islands in Lake Superior, but had no word on this until Kevin and Carol sent us the invitation. Once we knew we were to go, we knew that this time the weather would be beautiful and comparable to what we saw in Australia. And it was.
The Ojibwe Ceremony
Madeline Island is a sacred site for the Ojibwe, or Anishinabe, dating back many centuries. The story of their arrival to this island is based on the “Seven Fires Prophecy” which they received while their forefathers lived on the East Coast before the Europeans arrived. They were told to migrate inland to a great body of water where food grew on the water (wild rice). If they did not leave the East Coast, they were told, the nation would be destroyed. Many of them then moved to Madeline Island, shaped like a turtle shell.
Kevin himself is a descendant of the original “Madeline” after whom the island is named.
Each of the “seven fires” is a prophecy of instruction. The first prophecy instructed them:
“You are to look for a turtle shaped island that is linked to the purification of the earth. You will find such an island at the beginning and at the end of your journey. There will be seven stopping places along the way. You will know the chosen ground has been reached when you come to a land where food grows on water. If you do not move, you will be destroyed.”
The fourth prophecy was given by two prophets coming as one.
“One of the prophets said, “You will know the future of our people by the face the Light Skinned race wears. If they come wearing the face of brotherhood, then there will come a time of wonderful change for generations to come. They will bring new knowledge and articles that can be joined with the knowledge of this country; in this way, two nations will join to make a mighty nation.
“This new nation will be joined by two more so that four will form the mightiest nation of all. You will know the face of the brotherhood if the light skinned race comes carrying no weapons—if they come bearing only their knowledge and a hand shake.
“The other prophet said, “Beware if the Light Skinned race comes wearing the face of death. You must be careful because the face of brotherhood and the face of death look very much alike. If they come carrying a weapon… beware. If they come in suffering… they could fool you. Their hearts may be filled with greed for the riches of this land. If they are indeed your brothers, let them prove it. Do not accept them in total trust. You shall know that the face they wear is one of death if the rivers run with poison and the fish become unfit to eat. You shall know them by these many things.”
Obviously, the majority of the Light Skinned race did not come with the face of brotherhood, but with weapons. In the past century, with the indiscriminate use of pesticides and artificial fertilizers, the land, lakes, rivers, and even the groundwater have become greatly polluted.
The sixth prophet foretold how the old culture and way of life would be destroyed.
“It is at this time that the Light Skinned race will be given a choice between two roads. If they choose the right road, then the Seventh Fire will light the Eighth and final Fire, an eternal Fire of peace, love, brotherhood and sisterhood. If the Light Skinned race makes the wrong choice of roads, the destruction which they brought with them in coming to this country will come back at them and cause much suffering and death to all the Earth’s people.”
It is plain that we did take the wrong road, which brought destruction, suffering, and death to us and “to all the Earth’s people.” This is where we stand today as a nation. However, we are now approaching the time of the Kingdom, which will be led by New Covenant believers. Those of the Old Covenant depended upon weapons (physical swords). Those of the New Covenant come armed with a spiritual sword which is the word of God coming as Fire out of their mouths. This is “the Eighth and final Fire,” and the ceremony that was done on May 21, 2016 marked the start of this new and untrodden road.
“The prophet of the Fourth Fire spoke of a time when “two Nations will join and make a Mighty Nation.” He was speaking of the coming of the Light Skinned race and the face of brotherhood that the Light Skinned Brother could be wearing. It is obvious from the history of this country that this was not the face worn by the Light Skinned race as a whole. That the Mighty Nation spoken of in the Fourth Fire has never been formed.
...If the New People will remain strong in their Quest, the Water Drum of the Midewiwin Lodge will again sound its voice.
There will be a Rebirth of the Anishinabe Nation &
a rekindling of old flames. The Sacred Fire will again be lit."If the Natural People of the Earth could just wear the face of brotherhood, we might be able to deliver our society from the road to destruction. Could we make the two roads that today represent two clashing world views come together to form a mighty Nation? Could a Nation be formed that is guided by respect for all living things? Are we the New People of the Seventh Fire?”
Eight of us represented the Light Skinned race at this ceremony. Three of us were asked to participate in the drumming, where (as it was explained) Christian hymns were sung, partly in Ojibwe and partly in English, in accordance with the beating heart of our Heavenly Father. This was the highlight of the ceremony, the point where all the drummers’ hearts beat as one together with that of our Heavenly Father. No further word was necessary, no warfare, no work of any kind. It was truly a rest work, where we simply stepped into the role prophesied centuries ago to begin the Eighth Fire.
The drum itself has an interesting history, as Kevin told the story. A Dakota woman was given a vision about the drum and the songs and went to the people, instructing them how to make the drum and sing the songs. The song that the Big Drum society is taught to always sing first is the Honor Song to the Creator. The men switch the drum stick from their right hand to the left as they play this Honor Song. As they are playing this song, they raise their right hand up to take the hand of the Creator.
The men do the drumming, because the drum was a gift from the women to the men. The women dance around it in a circle.
The merging of two prophetic streams occurred with the Ojibwe hymns honoring our Heavenly Father. God did not leave either them or us without some knowledge of His will and long-term purpose. It is clear now that the “effective apostleship” that God established on March 22-24, 2001 with the prayer “God Bless America,” initiated a series of events, beginning with the Twin Towers demolition on September 11, 2001, which would begin to turn the country around by means of divine judgments. Not only is 911 an emergency telephone call, but the numeric value of “grace” in Greek is 911. Hence, it is an emergency call for grace, though few understood it at the time.
We have received much revelation about the Open Door Ministry, which is directly connected to the effective apostles that God is raising up in our day to establish the Kingdom under the New Covenant. I believe that we have now come to the point where this “Effective Apostleship” has come to the surface on May 22, 2016. The drum ceremony occurred toward evening of May 21, and we had a very good and restful 3¼ hour cruise around the Apostle Islands the next day, May 22, 2016.
