Yesterday I was unable to finish the weblog, because I was interrupted by important visitors who dropped by unexpectedly.

After that, while having lunch with friends in Anoka, my wife called to tell me that our friend Mark Iversen was not expected to live through the day. So we drove to his house to be with him and Carolyn. We prayed and anointed Mark with frankincense. He died of cancer at 7:47 pm. We are all sad to lose a good friend and intercessor, but we know that his spirit has returned to God, as the word says.

We have lost many friends this past year, many from our local group. The reason for this is still not clear, but we know that God is in charge, and we rest in Him.
