The underlying reason behind the attempt to overthrow Syria

Some years ago, I published an article showing how the western oil barons wanted to build a pipeline from Egypt to Turkey but that Syrian president Assad would not allow them to put it through Syria. Here is another article from January of 2016, showing exactly what oil company has been given the “rights” to drill for oil in Syria—without getting permission from Syria.

A US based oil company Genie Energy is planning to drill in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights which is legally part of Syria, while at the same time potentially endangering precious water supplies
At the end of last year Afek, an Israeli subsidiary of Genie Energy, announced that it had found considerable reserves of oil under the Golan.

While Syria is torn apart by the warring of U.S. imperialists and Islamic fundamentalists—leaving its children to die of starvation—another country plans to take advantage of the chaos by stealing resources from Syria’s southern region. The theft will be carried out by the most notorious pushers of military hegemony, and they don’t care that it violates international law.
Genie Energy is an American-based oil and gas company with major investors and advisors comprising a who’s who list of war profiteers—Dick Cheney, Rupert Murdoch, Lord Jacob Rothschild, and James Woolsey. The president of their Israeli subsidiary is Efraim “Effi” Eitam, an Israeli military commander who called for expelling the “cancer” of Arabs from Israel.
When nations block these men from making money, wars happen. The wars are never sold to the public for the real reason, of course. They tend to package wars in the name of humanitarian purposes, or setting people free from dictators, or even in the name of establishing peace. We need to be aware of the wickedness in high places so that we are not tricked into supporting theft and murder.
